Postcard from Rauma, Finland. Tje city is one of the oldest in the country. It got the city rights in 1442. Rauma is known for its paper and maritime industry, high quality lace (since the 18th century) and the old wooden architecture of its centre (Old Rauma, Vanha Rauma), which is a Unesco world heritage site.
Rauma has its own dialect which is Finish language with some vocabulary from Swedish, English and German.
